'Aor' at first appears to means "light". | However, most occurences are ostensibly translated as "fire". This is somewhat suspect in that 'aor' usually occurs with '[[ash]]', which is also translated as "fire". Why would the texts use two different words together if they both mean the same thing? This suggests that perhaps 'aor' is related to but distinct from fire. Like maybe "light". |

Under the guise of Strongnumber 216, it is typically translated as "fire" but this is a bit odd in that it usually occurs with '[[ash]]', which is also translated as "fire". Rather than using two diferent words that ostensibly have the exact same meaning, we rather suspect that 'aor' is related to but distinct from fire. | 'aor' is [[cognate]] with "aura" and the latin word "aurum" which means "gold" (Element AU).
