'geleyed' (aka Gilead) means "Witness Pile" as per the etymology of [[gel]] (pile) + [[yed]] (witness), and per the narrative of Genesis 31 where Jacob and Laban make a deal and state that "//this pile is a witness between me and you, so this place will be known as Geleyed//"
