'hog' is typically translated as "circle". 

It appears in only 3 instances:

  *Job 22:14 - //Thick clouds cover so that cannot He see and [above] **the circle** of heaven He walks//
  *Job 26:10 - // He has inscribed a circle on the surface//
  *Proverbs 8:27 - //When He prepared the heavens there I [was] when He drew **a circle** on the face of the deep//
  *Isaiah 40:22 - //[it is] He who sits above **the circle** of the earth and its inhabitants [are] like grasshoppers who stretches out like a curtain the heavens and spreads them out like a tent to dwell in//

Several interesting aspects are present in all three of these instances. Firstly, the [[Semim]] are misinterpreted as "heaven". Secondly, the language and context in general contains certain factors which seem mathematical and others which can be considered geographical or perhaps ontological/epistemological 

Since we already know that the [[Semim]] are a group of intelligent beings, and that "the heavens" is not a viable interpretation, we can replace 'heaven' with "the Legendary Ones".
