=====merim===== מרימ 'merim' literally means "The Bitter Ones". However, due to some range of meaning of the root word [[mer]], it can also be interpreted as "the Ocean People". This ancient word is [[cognate]] with the modern "mermaid" or "mer-man". 'merim' appears only four times in the ancient texts; in Exodus 35:24, Proverbs 3:35, Proverbs 14:29, and Psalms 3:3. Most traditional translations fail to recognize the word 'merim' and instead mistakenly convolute it with [[herim]], [[remim]], and [[irim]]. ---- This page is part of a series - see [[im]] backlinks for a dynamic list
