'seheq' means "laughter", and is the used in situations both of mockery and joy.

It is the root word of the [[Seheqim]]

In a few cases((Exodus 30:36, 2 Samuel 22:43, Job 14:19, Psalm 18:42)) the word is used metaphorically and means "to pulverize" or "to grind into dust"((Strongnumber 7833))
In other cases, the metaphor is extended to mean "dust clouds"((Strongnumber 7834))
