Yahweh/Jehovah <3068> יהוה (transliterates more closely to Jihivah)
Supposedly, this name means “I am” and is based on a conversation between Jehovah and Moses in Exodus 3.
The trouble is that “be” is spelled quite differently and is not the same root word at all.
אהיה (ahyah) is the typical spelling for “to be”
These are not the same word. Jehovah does not in fact mean “I am”
