roeh
רוה
'roeh' is commonly pronounced “ruach”, and thought to mean “the Holy Spirit”, or sometimes “the wind”.
However, many instances of the word seem to refer to a physical object rather than a spiritual entity.
One such instance is the word's first appearance in Genesis 1:1. Traditional translated as “the Spirit of God hovered over the face of the deep”. Our rendition keeping close to the Hebrew etymology reads as follows:
the Roeh Alehim orbited the edge.
We are presented with an object that is moving in three dimensional space. A physical object on an orbital trajectory. It seems to follow Newtonian physics.
It has been suggested that 'roeh' might refer to a type of technology or to “technology” in general.
