berek
Berek is typically translated as “bless”. Often, the contextual use is clear that an act and pronunciation of favor is indicated, and therefore does not necessarily imply magical connotations as does eror. Berek is based on the root word bara, and thus carries with it a sense of division, by way of an intentional choice.
Oddly, berek is used not only for blessing, but also for cursing1).
