רפא

Although there are issues in ascertaining a consistent meaning for 'repa', it seems that 'repa' is related to “healing”, due to it being the root of irepa (“heal”) and repaot (“medicine”)

'repa' is the root word of repaim and therefore plays an important role in clarifying the difference between repaim and a hypothetical repehim.

It is also the root word of the name of the character, repal aka Raphael.

In only one outlying case, 'repa' (LexID 7496) appears to mean “deformed”. 1 Chronicles 20:6-8 tells of a man with six fingers and six toes who was born deformed. In this case although the word is spelled 'repa', it seems likely that the intended word was actually repeh

There is a non-zero possibility that this word is cognate with “repair”.
