repa

This is an old revision of the document!

repa

רפא

'repa' appears to mean “dead”, however there are other words for this in the language as well, so this is somewhat suspect, especially considering the lack of attestation. The word 'repa' itself does not occur in the extant ancient Hebrew texts, but it is included here due to its probable role as the root of repaim and therefore its role in clarifying the difference between repaim and repehim

ACTUALLY - Some instances of 'repa' do exist but are assigned the wrong Strongnumber: check out 1_chronicles20:6 and 1_chronicles20:8 - both have a 'repa'
