There are issues in ascertaining a consistent meaning for 'repa'.
In one cases 'repa' (LexID 7496) appears to mean “deformed”. 1 Chronicles 20:6-8 tells of a man with six fingers and six toes who was born deformed. In this case althought the word is spelled 'repa', it seems likely that the intended word was actually repeh
It seems likely that 'repa' is more accurately related to “healing”, due to it being the root of irepa (“heal”) and repaot (“medicine”)
It is the root word of repaim and therefore its role in clarifying the difference between repaim and a hypothetical repehim
