tzion

'tzion' (often pronounced “zion”) is normally taken to mean roughly equivalent to the iseral as a people group, or (perhaps?) symbolically as a place “mount Zion”
One or Two Places?
Despite similarities in pronunciation, most scholars consider “Zion” to be distinct from “Sinai” and to therefore refer to two distinct locations.
Mount Zion is generally considered to be situated in Jerusalem, and is often referred to as the spiritual heart of the Jewish people. Historically, it was the site of the City of David and the First and Second Temples.
cini (Mount Sinai), on the other hand is traditionally located in the Sinai Peninsula of Egypt, though its true location is unknown. It is recognized as the place where Moses received the Ten Commandments from Ihoh.
However, the term 'tzion' is not used prior to the monarchic period. It might be an evolution of a word that refers back in time to the post-Exodus period of wandering in the desert which likely occurred in the cin (Sinai) peninsula. Thus, the two words might refer to a single geographical location.
