'yeser' and 'yeserim' are numeric words but their exact values are somewhat difficult to determine.

Traditionally 'yeser' is translated as “ten” and 'yeserim' is translated as “twenty”. This interpretation is problematic as it ignores the pattern followed by all the other numbers, whereby the 'im' suffix acts as a multiplication factor.
