-'repa' appears to mean "dead", however there are other words for this in the language as well, so this is somewhat suspect, especially considering the lack of attestation. The word 'repa' itself does not occur in the extant ancient Hebrew textsbut it is included here due to its probable role as the root of [[repaim]] and therefore its role in clarifying the difference between repaim and [[repehim]]+Although there are issues in ascertaining a consistent meaning for 'repa', it seems that 'repa' is related to "healing", due to it being the root of [[irepa]] ("heal"and [[repaot]] ("medicine")

-ACTUALLY - Some instances of 'repa' do exist but are assigned the wrong Strongnumber: +'repa' is the root word of [[repaim]] and therefore plays an important role in clarifying the difference between [[repaim]] and a hypothetical [[repehim]].
-check out 1_chronicles20:6 and 1_chronicles20:both have a 'repa'+
+It is also the root word of the name of the character, [[repal]] aka Raphael.
 +
+In only one outlying case, 'repa' (LexID 7496) appears to mean "deformed". 1 Chronicles 20:6-8 tells of man with six fingers and six toes who was born deformed. In this case although the word is spelled 'repa', it seems likely that the intended word was actually [[repeh]]
 +
+There is a non-zero possibility that this word is [[cognate]] with "repair".
