The word Melchizedek does not appear in the ancient Hebrew texts. see ghost words

Supposedly “Melchizedek” is the name of the king of Salem as told in Genesis 14:18. Instead, if we read the Hebrew text, we find the phrase “xedeq melek selem” which means “pure king of peace”. He is further referred to as “priest of uppermost favor”.

Psalms 110:4 is also supposed to mention Melchizedek, but the Hebrew contains only xedeq meaning simply “pure”, seemingly in reference to adeni which is the following word. There is no mention of any variant of the word 'melek' in this verse.
