irim

The root word of irim should be 'ir', however, this does not appear to be a word. It is possible that a word with a close spelling might be the root. Possible candidates include air (“shining”), ira (“official”/“respect”), ireh (“moon”), or aor (“light”).

All of these possible root relate to the concepts of a light shining, whether literally or figuratively, so it is not unreasonable to propose a tentative meaning for 'irim' of “The Shining Ones”. If this is the case, irim might simply be a misspelling or simplification of the term aorim.

'irim' occurs only nine times in the ancient texts
